When my son was born in 2012, I experienced a difficult birth that led to a long recovery. I was not in a place where I physically or emotionally felt well enough to have newborn photos taken. Sadly, this is one of my biggest regrets. I don’t have any great photos of him as a baby. The last thing I wanted to do at that time was to get pretty for photos, but I wish I had. All too often, I hear so many mothers share the same feelings with me: missing out on maternity or newborn photos then regretting it when it’s too late.
I’m Brenna and I’m a homeschooling mom, outgoing introvert, & houseplant collector, who never takes myself too seriously and loves bringing humor into everything. Helping busy moms save time is what I do best. (I mean, I’m an Enneagram 2w3 after all!)
Most of all, you value the importance of beautiful photography because it will bring you back to the most meaningful moments in your life. I agree with you on all accounts, which is why I think we'll be a perfect fit.
I'd be willing to bet that you're easygoing, detail-oriented, and warmhearted. You value time and experiences with your family. You're drawn to a simple, natural aesthetic and pay attention to the little things without letting them drive you crazy when they're not perfect.
Chances are, I’ve totally been in your shoes before. Searching and searching for hours online, looking for the services or programs that were tailor-made for my current stage of life.
Being able to spend as much time with the kiddos as possible is one of the reasons we decided to homeschool them. It's definitely challenging, but it's also the greatest reward to be their teacher.
I love pops of green in a bright, white space. My husband jokes about my plant obsession, while my kids are always on the lookout for the next plant to join our family. It's a win-win situation!
We met at a bar and were introduced by a mutual friend. We hit it off right away, he asked me out over Twitter DM, and seven months later we were engaged! We've been married since October, 2010.
Aside from being an Arizona native, homeschool mom, and plant lady, I'm also an ASU grad, FORD/Robert Black Agency actress, former Miss Arizona USA, and fan of non-toxic living.
I love Jesus, DIY home projects, true crime podcasts, music theater, throwback 90s TV shows, and family time at our cabin in Prescott.
