Peachy-pink paint and white furniture with gold and floral accents–that’s what Adelyn’s nursery is made of. Everything girly and glam but still sweet, soft, and sophisticated. It’s true that we don’t really use the nursery at all right now (she’s only two months old) other than for storing her clothes, but in a few more months I know I’ll really enjoy spending time nursing her in the vintage rocking chair in the middle of the night and before nap time.
I love home decorating and unfortunately, it can get really expensive. I’ve always loved a good bargain so of course I had to plan ahead so I could find what I needed for her nursery at a good price. We used the same furniture we bought for Aaron’s nursery, found a “new” rocker on Craigslist, and customized several inexpensive pieces from IKEA. Much of the decor was purchased from Hobby Lobby during their 50% off sales. You can also use a coupon for 40% off a full-priced item just by visiting their website to get the coupon code. I’ll list all the details under each photo. Welcome to Adelyn’s nursery!

We have a few more things we want to hang on the walls, but I’m still looking through antique stores to find the perfect items to add. If you have any questions about any items in particular then don’t hesitate to ask!
So I was thinking, maybe Auntie Di and Adelyn could share a room. As soon as I get back from Boston/DC, I want a play date with your little ones, and you of course. Miss you! xx
Yes, please!! She doesn’t even use her room right now so you can totally sleep in her bed 😉 or just snuggle with Aaron in his queen. Haha!
Haha! I love it! 🙂 See you Friday! xoxo!!
