When I asked Heidi and Ferras how they met, they told me it was at a birthday party. As a mom of two young kiddos, I immediately assumed it was a kid’s birthday party. Boy, was I wrong! Before they know it, these two will be wrapped into the world of kids’ parties every weekend, dance class, and soccer practice.

But for now, they’re enjoying their last few months of life without kiddos. Their son will be born this July!

This was certainly my warmest session so far this year, and it’s only going to get hotter. We were lucky because it was about 10 degrees cooler up in the mountains and we had a nice breeze all evening. I really have been so lucky with all the wind during my sessions lately! (Stay tuned for info about how I plan to avoid the crazy Phoenix heat for those who want to shoot this summer.)
