I’m not going to lie, I was just a little nervous to shoot my first set of twins. I’ve been photographing babies for years but there is certainly an element of the unknown when it comes to working with two babies at one time. I spent several weeks learning twin poses, new wrap techniques, and brushing up on my posing safety. I wanted to make sure no detail was left untouched just in case the session were to get a little chaotic.
Silly me, because Benjamin and Blakely were absolute angels during their in-home newborn session! I wrapped them up nice and snug and they stayed asleep the whole time! They even got to take a little snooze in their modern nursery designed by Brooke Benfield while I snapped some photos and set up my posing beanbag. Project Nursery even featured an image of the twins’ nursery on Instagram last week!
The Tuffyas twins were born on November 1, 2017, to proud parents Nicole and Eric, and fur-sisters Kimi and Taffy. The mood in their home was so relaxed and calm, it’s no wonder these sweet babies were so chill! I loved that they just snuggled right up to each other during their twin portraits! I wonder why…it’s not like they had been at each other’s side for the last nine months or anything… 😉
Nicole and Eric, I cannot thank you enough for trusting me and welcoming me into your beautiful home with open arms. It’s such a blessing to be able to serve families just like yours. Benjamin and Blakely are so darn sweet! They may be a handful at times (quite literally), but the joy and love they will bring to your lives will be immense. The days may be long but the years will be short. You got this!!
xoxo,
Brenna
