“On December 7th, we went to the hospital with some very early signs of labor.  Since I tend to overreact, Nathan and I were pretty sure we were going to be sent home rather then admitted to the hospital… so sure, in fact, that we were picking out restaurants to grab lunch on our way home.  We were shocked to learn that we were being admitted and induced that day. Sixteen hours later, we welcomed Camden into the world at 6:56 am December 8th. Seeing him for the first time was the most overwhelming moment of my life. We are so in love with him.”

Camden’s aunt, Chelsea, just so happens to be one of my Miss Arizona USA sisters, whom I also had the pleasure of coaching her before she won the crown. So when her sister, Jennifer, was looking for a newborn photographer, Chelsea sent Jennifer my way. And boy, am I glad she did!

Jennifer and Nathan have so much in common with my husband and me! My husband is also named Nathan. They’re both very tall (my husband is 6’4″ and this Nathan is 6’5″). All four of us grew up in Arizona and our families are all still nearby. It’s very rare to have so many Arizona natives all in one place at one time!

Nathan and Jennifer, I hope you had a beautiful, quiet, and relaxed Christmas — just the three of you (and Buddy the Dog, too!). Camden is as precious as can be and I’m so honored that you would allow me into your home during this special time. What a magical time of year to welcome a new baby into the family; you are truly blessed!
