When I walked into Quinn’s nursery looked like a page from a Pottery Bark Kids catalog. And rightfully so, seeing that nearly everything in there was from PBK! Her mama, Jennifer, left no detail left undone! It was the perfect blend of feminine and soft that Quinn will be able to enjoy well into her teen years.
The rest of Jennifer and Chase’s house was no different. They certainly have great style and I was definitely getting some inspiration for our upcoming master bedroom and studio redo!
They moved into their home about two years ago, after Chase transferred here for his job. He and Jenn each grew up in Utah, where their families still live. When Jenn went into labor, she called her parents immediately and they began the 10-hour drive to the hospital in Scottsdale. Surprisingly, they didn’t quite make to see Quinn’s delivery.
Precious Quinn joined her mommy and daddy rather abruptly, and ten days before her due date, but she was a perfect as could be! Keep reading to hear all about her fast and furious entrance in the world!
“Quinn was born on Sunday, July 15th, at 10:44pm and she arrived in a hurry! I started feeling contractions at 1:00pm on the 15th and asked my husband, Chase, to wrap up the yard work he was doing “just in case.” We started timing the contractions and headed to the hospital around 3:00pm. On the way to the hospital, my water broke – so convenient! We were immediately checked into the hospital and were told we were in for a long night, anticipating a baby the next day. But Quinn had other plans…around 9:30pm the nurse checked me and told me to get ready to start pushing and before we knew it, Quinn was here!”
Jenn and Chase, I absolutely adored our time together. It was one of the most relaxing and easy-going newborn sessions I’ve ever had (and that’s saying a lot, because I’m seriously blessed with the best babies and families!). I loved watching how calm and natural you were with her. It was like you’ve been parents all your lives! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for allowing me to document these fleeting moments. She’ll be a teen before you know it–and she’ll have that gorgeous room to call her very own! 😉
xoxo,
Brenna
