All I have to do is edit the greeting to reflect the name of the person inquiring more details. I can even include “Tokens,” like the client’s first name, session date, start time, etc., to automatically populate inside an email reminder so it’s custom to each client!
Online Scheduling
This is a game-changer when it comes to booking my mini sessions! With 17hats online scheduling, I’m able to allow my clients to see available session times and pay at the time of their booking. This saves me the back-and-forth of email and DMs via Instagram. Plus, with allowing my clients to pay their retainer upfront, I also eliminate the amount of “no-shows” or last minute cancellations.
And, just to add icing on the cake… 17hats Calendar atomically syncs to my Google Calendar! I’m able to see in real-time as sessions are booked even when I’m not logged into to my 17hats account and I never, ever miss or double-book a session.

Client Portal
Client Portals allow for a secure place for your clients to access documents and invoices for their upcoming session with me. One thing I love about the portals is it allows my clients to be able to see all the details for their sessions. This helps eliminate emails in my inbox. Client portals can also be password protected.
I can even send contracts directly from their Client Portal eliminating another third-party tool. Clients simply sign the contract and I’m able to countersign. Bada bing, bada boom!
Bookkeeping
The reporting system that 17hats is so well thought out and makes tax season a breeze for me and my CPA. One thing every small business needs from the get-go is a bookkeeping system. There’s nothing like trying to put all of your tax info together last minute for your accountant. Branding is a very important thing for me.
