Tatum’s classic, girly nursery design is what all moms dream about when they find out they are having a little lady. Her sweet parents went with a girly and playful theme, which made for the most classic and comfortable little space for baby Tatum. Every little detail of the nursery was just beautiful, and it absolutely made for stunning in-home newborn photos. When I saw Tatum’s nursery, I knew right then that it had to be a BHP featured nursery of the month!
About the Nursery
What is your nursery’s theme?
“I wanted it to be girly, classic, and peaceful but have playful elements. I wanted it to have pink but not be too bright and overwhelming, I wanted the space to be a comforting space to hang out it for me and for our baby girl since lots of time is spent in this room.”
Did you utilize help from any professional designers?
“I did! Kelly Frampton.”
On which items did you splurge vs. save?
“A couple splurges were the wallpaper and the glider chair! We saved on the dresser, which is old IKEA dresser of mine. We found new knobs to freshen it up. The $125 Walmart rug was a steal! The faux olive tree from Costco was also a great find.”
Did you experience any challenges with your nursery design?
“The biggest challenge was properly utilizing the space since it’s a smaller room so I didn’t want it to feel too crowded.”
Is there anything else you’d like to share about your nursery?
“All the books in his nursery have loving thoughts and prayers written in the cover by friends and family!”
