This month’s BHP Star Student is Nichi Molgren of Lily and Lilacs Photography. Nichi is the owner and lead photographer of Lily and Lilacs Photography based in Dallas, Texas. She specializes in maternity, newborn, family and milestone sessions. Nichi enjoys photographing a variety of types of sessions, but if she has to choose a favorite, it’s newborn. She loves the flexibility of having her own business, being able to set her own hours, and take time off when needed.

About Nichi

Nichi has always loved photography. After her own struggle with infertility issues, she fell in love with motherhood photography. Pregnancy was incredibly special to her. The very first session Nichi ever photographed was for a friend’s maternity session. Being a mom of two girls, Nichi started learning how to use a DSLR so that she could document all the memories of her little ones. This led to the start of Lily and Lilacs Photography, which officially was launched in 2022.

Nichi is a student of both the Lifestyle + Posed Newborn Course and Membership for Motherhood Photographers. Her favorite part about the course is the newborn wrapping lesson and session workflow. She found both of these resources to be extremely helpful in her business. She even said that she goes through them before every single session, which helps her to not to miss any importance shots.

We are so grateful to have Nichi as a valued part of the BHP Community! Her talent is unmatched, and I am so excited to see all of the wonderful things she continues to accomplish in her photography business. I absolutely LOVE her photography, and her clients are so blessed to have their most precious moments captured by her!
