Kylie is a super-talented wedding photographer based out of Sacramento, California. She came to Phoenix to photograph her cousin’s wedding and was dreaming of an anniversary session in the gorgeous Sonoran Desert. Just like the destination family session I did a couple months ago, Kylie found me through our Amy & Jordan student Facebook groups!
The timing was perfect, because I had one date available that coincided with Kylie’s cousin’s wedding weekend–it was my first day back after my Disneyland vacation with my family! Kylie was super smart to book her session several months in advance to give her plenty of time to choose her ideal location, which just so happens to be one of my favorite locations (Desert Botanical Garden), and decide on the perfect outfits for Nick and her to wear (nailed it!).
Kylie had her hair and makeup styled by Diane at nearby Vidogi Salon, and boy, did she look amazing!! We got so lucky with mild temperatures that evening; with all the walked we did around the Garden we could have easily broken a sweat…especially Nick in that blue sport coat!
Kylie and Nick, I hope you enjoyed your weekend in the desert and fulfilled all your cacti dreams! I am so honored that you choose me to capture this special milestone for you. I hope your next five years of marriage are even better than the first five! You two are so sweet together!
