Allie and Spencer welcomed baby number three–a BOY!–recently. I was fortunate enough to capture their family maternity session at Paradise Valley Country Club. They were married here in 2018 and her parents are long-time members. Needless to say, this location holds a special place in their hearts. They knew it was the perfect spot for their session!

Paradise Valley Country Club

Shooting at this private location was a first for me. Getting there a little early and walking the property with Allie and her mom, Andrea, was a huge help! I wanted to make sure weren’t shooting in a spot where we were in the way of other members and golfers. We also needed plenty of room for the little ones to run and play. This grassy area was absolutely perfect!

With two young kiddos, Allie and Spencer knew it may be tricky to keep their attention, but they came prepared! Allie’s mom come along to help, the bubbles were a huge hit, and we took an ice cream break (those photos are some of my faves!). The entire session was so them. Can we also talk about how STUNNING Allie is? I mean just glowing! She radiates joy. It is so abundantly clear how much her kids adore her and Spencer!

Keep it Personal

Capturing each family’s interests and personalities is so important! Photos are cherished forever, and should be unique and meaningful. Of course, traditional-posed images will always be taken, but there’s something special about the heartfelt, candid moments. Mamas, do not stress about that “perfect picture” before your session! Just let your kids be kids, and you and Dad interact with them too! I can almost promise you that those will be the photos that steal your heart.

It was such a joy to spend the evening with the Sellerses for their Family Maternity Session. I am so excited for them as their family grows and memories are made as a family of five! I’ve had the privilege of taking all three babies’ newborn photos so needless to say, this family is so special to me!!
