Danielle Hardesty Photography is this month’s BHP Star Student, and I’m so excited to share more about her and her photography journey! Danielle is a family and newborn photographer serving the Chicagoland area. She is also a brand photographer for authentic business owners. Danielle loves the flexibility that having her own business allows to care for two important family members!
Danielle describes herself as a daughter of God, wife, sister, daughter who loves adventure, crafts and music! She has a passion for encouraging and serving everyone she come in contact with. She’s truly such a light in this world!
Danielle’s Photography Journey
Danielle’s photography journey is truly that… a journey! When she graduated with her masters degree in teaching during the 2008 recession and had trouble finding a job when she moved back to her hometown area. She tried to think of an alternative to start earning income. She had been paid for a couple photography gigs in high school, loved taking photos and thought it might be fun. Luckily, she started working as an aide in the schools and then stayed for a while in a variety of temporary positions. In 2016, Danielle endured a loss and grief that changed her perspective on life and had a friend who needed part time childcare. She felt God tugging on her heart to make a change and followed his calling! In 2018, Danielle finally got all the pieces in order to form a legal business and the rest is history!
Danielle is such an asset to the BHP Community. She is a part of the Membership for Motherhood Photographers and a student of The Lifestyle + Posed Newborn Course. Danielle says she is so grateful for the MMP to allow her to get a feel for how sessions go for others doing what she loves. The monthly trainings are so wonderful for helping Danielle grow behind the scenes. The L+P Newborn Course is truly one of Danielle’s top 3 favorite courses she has ever taken! She loves the information including topics that she has only thought about briefly, but has now taken time to go more in depth with learning.
Danielle’s favorite part of the BHP Community is how special it is for motherhood photographers, because it’s a unique niche, and I don’t know of many others (if any) like it!
We are so blessed to have you in the BHP Community, Danielle, and I know you’re going to continue blessing so many wonderful clients with your talent and sweet personality!
