This is a studio lifestyle and posed newborn session that will forever live in my memory! Sweet Evelyn Rose and her precious family were such a treasure to photograph once again. I’ve had the honor of photographing and designing heirloom albums for all three Thomas babies. There is something extra special about showing someone their memories preserved in an art form such as albums and framed fine art prints. Evelyn’s Birth Story
Evelyn Rose Thomas was born on her due date, June 24, 2023. She joined big sister, Nora, and big brother, Wyatt. Here’s her birth story as told by her mama, Katie:
Evelyn Rose is our third little and she wanted to make her entrance grand! I went in for an induction on Friday night, June 23, 2023. We got started but little missy did not want to cooperate, she kept moving and moving we couldn’t keep her on the monitor. She ran those nurses ragged! After about 12 hrs of that we decided to break my water and put a fetal head monitor on her and things were going great until….my nurse decided to check to see how much I was dilated and she gets this look on her face and she goes “I either feel an ear fold or I feel a booty butt.”
She went and got another nurse to check me and she said the same thing! They got my doctor and did an ultrasound and sure enough she flipped breech! So miss Evelyn was born via c section on June 24th, at 5:55pm weighing in at 5 pounds 15 ounces and 19.5 inches long! And we’ve been loving on her and snuggling her ever since!
