Why I Use Flodesk for Email Marketing

Flodesk has been the new email marketing platform for the past year and it has made some big waves! Created with creative small business owners in mind, Flodesk takes the techy side of a business app and combines it with a beautiful, user-friendly experience to enhance one’s email marketing efforts.

I switched from Mailchimp to Flodesk early on when Flodesk first announced it was in beta testing. And, I mean, who could refuse not to try it out because it was only $19 a month! All I had to do was eliminate two coffee trips a month and my Flodesk subscription was paid for.

Once I began testing the waters and getting familiar with the platform, I realized I no longer needed Mailchimp. Flodesk was the way to go for my business!

In this blog, I’m going to dissect a number of reasons why I made the switch to Flodesk and haven’t looked backed since!

One: The Price was Unbeatable

Your monthly rate with Flodesk will NEVER go up no matter how big your email subscriber list gets. Two: Easy-to-Build Templates

Not only are the email templates easy to build, but they are pretty AND functional. My open rates have significantly increased since I started using Flodesk. Even if you don’t consider yourself a techy person, Flodesk offers many how-to videos to help you feel confident in using their platform.

Three: Flodesk Facebook Group

This brings me to points three and even four. Flodesk has created a Facebook Group called Flodesk Insiders where you can ask questions anytime of day and fellow users can help support you if you have any issues pop-up. Plus, Flodesk experts are consistently monitoring the Facebook Group and chiming in on questions, too!

Four: Flodesk University

If you’re a visual learner, you will enjoy Flodesk University. Flodesk’s FAQ videos and articles help ensure you reach the highest potential with your email marketing strategies. Team members and even guest Flodesk experts make appearances throughout Flodesk University. And, anytime a new feature rolls out, you can bet there will be a new video explaining the new feature efficiently for you to start utilizing right away!

Five: No Website Needed

If you are still in the start-up stages of your business, yet know you want to begin implementing email marketing, Flodesk makes it easy for you! With a full-page link opt-in to a lead magnet, you can include this link on any of your social profiles to generate buzz about your lead magnet and start building your list sans website.

Six: Duplicate and Sort Emails

Along with easy-to-create emails, you can also easily duplicate emails and save template favorites for later use. If you’re like me and like to keep certain campaign emails all in one place, Flodesk allows you to do so with the creation of folders.

Seven: Integrates with Other Platforms

With third-party apps such as Zapier, I can easily connect opt-ins on my website and sales pages to direct my audience to a specific workflow within Flodesk. This does have a learning curve to it, but once you figure out the how-to, it’s a game changer for your business.

Eight: Welcome Sequence

Within the workflow tab of Flodesk, you are able to make unlimited amount of automated workflows. As a small business coach and small business owner myself, I highly recommend creating a Welcome Sequence for your audience. Anytime you have a new subscriber sign up for a lead magnet, they can automatically be prompted to start a workflow within Flodesk.

This sounds a lot more complicated than what it is to set up. And, the best part is Flodesk knows which subscribers have already been through your Welcome Sequence. This means you never have to worry about a customer getting the same workflow over and over. Especially if they are a tried and true customer who buys everything and opts-in to every freebie your business offers.

I really could go on and on about why Flodesk has been my email platform of choice for the past year.
